The two types of pride, positive pride and negative pride.
When someone asks you to define pride, or to give the definition of pride you know, you must know that there are many pride meaning(s). As such, pride definition is diverse. There is the pride of accomplishment and one for contentedness (pilgrim pride, pride parade, pride in God, etc); there is also the context of pride as a sin, or sin pride.
Pride meanings, except the word for a group of lions, the rest are scoped around an inward personal reflection of ourselves. So how many types of pride do we have? There are two forms if you ask me, in case you are wondering what types of pride. The two types of pride are positive and negative pride. Positive pride sterms from contentedness, victory, achievement.- Negative pride comes from laziness, profligacy, entitlement, rage, greed, envy, gossip, idleness, choosiness, and from wanting the best things by all means.-
Some of us are so proud, we self-exalt. Our aspirations are self-glorious, to bring us recognition and honor. We want to cut corners, we feel entitled. For those that understand the divinity of Christ, we will understand the values of Christ in his finished works on earth, and through his humanitarian values, along with the message he taught us. His ordained ministry was built with humility— refusing from refusing the satan's offer of King to death on a cross by the hands of Romans and Hebrews. Don't forget his humility. How many of us will come back from a tour on a tricycle or pick a casual wagon over a luxury car we own. Our Jesus picked a donkey rather than a horse. This is because, just like his, our journeys signify a long turbulent but gallant journey, rather than the flashy and flamboyant one a luxury car interprets. -In life, we should pray for the best but learn to work through normalities and difficulties, wanting the easy way to establishment is a serious sign of pride, it shows envy and entitlement— two bad spirits.-
The apostle described Jesus as a person in the form of God (maybe not physically, but spiritually and even physically in God's image— even God said, "This is my beloved son in whom I am well pleased . . . .") described in this divine nature, even as the personification of God on earth.
Even he, Jesus, did not seek to count equally with God. For such humility, Godly and exemplar living, Jesus's might was tripled— heaven, earth and underneath— that at the mention of the name, every knee bowed in all realms. Say this prayer... - Lord, grant me the spirit of humility that brings blessings. I relieve every evil spirit of depression and distress from me, in Jesus' mighty name. Amen.- Philippians 2:5-11.
